Personality

My name is Mary Carmen Varela Gutierrez, I’m a student at Colegio del Centro and I have a lot of friends.
I really don’t know what I want to study the next year but I’d like medicine or veterinarian; but I would like too travel at Canada one year because I want to practice my English and learn more.
I consider myself sociable and funny.
My favorite food is Mexican or Chinese, but I love candies.
My hobbies are surfing the web, go to the gym, swimming, hanging out with my friends to the coffee or the movie teather, listening to music all day, playing guitar hero, and go shopping.
I hate sea food, math, and the rain.
I have a nice family even my father and my brothers are very jealous and they overprotect me but I love them, I have two dogs and I consider them part of my family.

English proficiency challenges and strengths

My challenges are:
-More practice because sometimes I forget too many words and I don’t know how to say something.
-Learning new words from a dictionary or listening cd’s, watching movies, etc.
-Understand when someone is talking because when I go to USA I can’t understand the people who talks very fast.
-Writing correct the English.
-Put attention in class.
-analyze the sentences or the words that I don’t understand.
-Being responsible
-Doing all the class activities and homework’s
My strengths are:
-I think I have a good pronunciation.
-Enjoying English by myself because I like english class.
-Understand almost all the times when someone is talking.
